Bernice Gillis Crone

Bernice Gillis Crone went to Heaven March 15. She is the widow of Ernie V. Crone Jr., She is survived by daughters, Susan Hudson and Linda Louks; son-in-law, Duncan Hudson; grandsons, Ernie Hudson, Duncan W. Hudson and Matthew Louks, and granddaughter, Katie Louks. She also leaves a sister, Lavada Edwards and brother Melvin Gillis. Bernice loved the Lord with all of her heart. She leaves a legacy of service to children as both a kindergarten and Sunday School teacher. She retired from Kroger Co. and was an avid golfer. Bernice was a devoted Memphis Grizzlies and U of M Tiger fan. Services to be held Saturday 3/23 at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home, 6755  North Hwy. 51, Millington, Tenn. 38053. Memorials can be sent to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
