Halovee Davidson Perchan, formerly of Pine Bluff, passed away March 14, 2013 at the age of 87 in Richardson, Texas. She was born to William Lester and Allie Jane Davidson on May 28, 1925 in Houlka, Mississippi, and raised in the Mississippi Delta town of Benoit. Survivors include her four daughters, Beverly Ann Perchan, Deborah LaMarr, Susan Kennedy, and Georgia Burns. Her sons-in-law are James Kennedy and Steven Burns. Surviving grandchildren are Georgia Leigh and husband Joseph Cotton, Katherine Kennedy, Kristen LaMarr, Brett Burns, Leslie Burns and Jill Burns. Halovee has one great-grandson, Liam James Cotton. Her surviving siblings are Pauline Blythe, Juanita Luckie and William Davidson Jr. Halovee is preceded in death by her husband, George Perchan, parents, sisters Thelma Hogue, Mary Jane Porter, brother Jackson Davidson, and great-grandson, Lukas Adam Cotton. Halovee was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir for many years. She moved to Texas in August, 2012, to be closer to her daughters after her husband passed away in April of the same year. Halovee will be remembered for her kind heart and beautiful smile. A private graveside service will be Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Graceland Cemetery with Deacon Noel "Bud" Bryant officiating. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5-7 PM at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors.
