Viola Louise Bashaw

Viola Louise Bashaw, 84, of Lowell passed away March 14, 2013, in Springdale. Louise was born Jan. 1, 1929, in Haskell County, Texas, the daughter of Marlin Dewitt and Lula Mae Hamlin Brockett. She was a caregiver, homemaker and a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Bentonville. Preceded in death by her husband, Earl Leon Bashaw, they were married April 21, 1949, in Texas; he passed away Dec. 7, 1999; one son, Michael Leon Bashaw; one grandchild, one great-grandchild and one great-great-grandchild; and one brother, Clifton Brockett. Survived by her children, Marlin Bashaw and Danny Bashaw, both of Springdale, Sharon Noland and Verita Powell, both of Lowell; one brother, LC Mahan; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th St., Rogers, with Pastor David Dodson officiating. Interment will follow in the Hickory Creek Cemetery, Lowell.
