Elizabeth Krause

Elizabeth Jane "BJ" Klepatz-Krause, 80, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Circle of Life in Springdale, Ark. She was born Nov. 18, 1932, in Chester, Ill.; she was the daughter of Albert and Fleta Duensing. BJ was very active in every community she lived in, and was a woman of many talents, some of which included teaching, real estate and banking. Volunteering was a big part of BJ's life. She enjoyed working with Girl Scouts, Junior Bank Board, Rodeo of the Ozarks, Northwest Technical Institute, United Way, Manna Center, Siloam Hospital Auxiliary, Kiwanis Club and Chamber of Commerce in both Springdale and Siloam Springs. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Krause; her parents; one brother, Roger Duensing; two sisters, Alberta O'Mara and Velma Lee Powley; an infant son, Kurt; and a daughter, Heidi. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Harris and husband, Jimmy, of Siloam Springs; grandson, Chad Harris and wife, Rachael, of Siloam Springs; granddaughter, Korri Cleveland and husband, Bryson, of Siloam Springs; great-grandson, Cole Cleveland; a brother-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Sager Creek Community Church, Siloam Springs, Ark. Arrangements are under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Ark.
