Theo Verser

Theo Verser, age 86, of Rogers passed away on March 5, 2013, in Rogers. He was born June 21, 1926, in Heber Springs, Ark., to the late John and Lou Carlton Verser. He and Irene were married on Dec. 6, 1943, in Heber Springs, Ark. After completing college in Salinas, Calif., they moved to Rogers and started Verser's Cabinet Shop. He loved to fish and most importantly to be with his family. He is survived by his wife, Irene Verser of the home; one son, Jerry Verser of Salmon, Idaho; one daughter, Jeanetta Forquer of Springfield, Mo.; one sister, Lula Mae Cook of Russellville, Ark.; five grandchildren, Jason Verser, Danette Durbin, Penny Flagg, Christy Sheldon, Jerry Forquer; and by six great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 8, at 2 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers. A visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday prior to the service. Interment will follow at Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers. Arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
