Kathryn Jones

Kathryn Jones, 70, died March 3, 2013, in Lowell. She was born on Sept. 8, 1942, in Great Bend, Kan., to the late James and Viola (Palmer) Hoge. She was the loving wife of Steven Jones for many years. Kathryn was the director of nursing for five years at the Kelmark Nursing Home in Rogers. She was an avid reader, loved living on Beaver Lake, enjoyed going to the Rogers Little Theater and traveling to Eureka Springs for concerts and art exhibits. Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband of Garfield; four sons, James L. and Christina Christiansen of California, Ben and Joanna Christiansen of Rogers, Jack and Sonya Guthrie of Lowell, and Jason Werner and Rendy Mohr of Kansas; brother, Tom Hoge; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Her memorial service will be Thursday, March 7, at 2 p.m. in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers.
