Russell H. Lambert

Russell H. Lambert, age 92, of Bella Vista, died March 1, 2013, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. He was born in Hico, Texas, on Dec. 17, 1920, to the late Leonard and Winnie (Gieseche) Lambert. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II and retired to the area from Bell Helicopter Co. He was a member of the NRA and the Bella Vista Church of Christ. Survivors include his daughter, Sylvia Mongillo of Monroe, N.C.; stepson, Melvin Fox and wife, Patsy, of Plano, Texas; a sister, Jane Enloe of Texas; granddaughter, Mandy Eve Cole; and great-grandchildren, Shawna and Taylor Cole, Xara and Eustacia Wale. He was preceded in death by his parents; spouse Sadie and Pauline; and a sister, Erjuana Pruitt. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Benton County Memorial Park. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the charity of the donor's choosing. Arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Bentonville.
