Phylllis M. Freeman

Phyllis Mills Freeman, 81, of Fayetteville passed away June 25, 2013. She was born Nov. 11, 1931, in Anthony, Kan., to parents Lauren and Dorothy Mills. She lived all of her adult life in Fayetteville. Phyllis and her husband, James, had celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on Nov. 13, 2012. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fayetteville. She is survived by her husband, James F. Freeman; her two children, daughter, Kaye Freeman Owen and son-in-law, Jack Owen, son, Mark J. Freeman and daughter-in-law, Lisa Freeman; her four grandchildren, Meredith Owen, Haley Owen, Kyle Freeman and Kole Freeman. A community memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
