Charles M. Cameron, 89, of Springdale died June 27, 2013, in Springdale. He was born Dec. 20, 1923, in Subiaco, Ark., to W.H. and Osie Mosley Cameron. He was a WWII Army veteran and member of Robinson Avenue Church of Christ. After coming to Springdale, he was a home builder and later opened Cameron's Jeans-N-Things on Emma Avenue. In his later years, he enjoyed his garden, time spent with grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and his 2 p.m. coffee time at Neal's with the boys. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Lois Cameron. He is survived by one son, Danny Cameron of Atlanta, Ga.; three daughters, Kay Smith and husband, George, of Florida, Suzanne Cameron of Eureka Springs, and Jean Earp and husband, Harlon, of Springdale; six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2013, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale, with family friend Pastor Jack McCarty officiating. Private family burial will follow. Visitation will be Sunday, June 30, 2013, from noon to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Schmieding Center, Senior Education Care Giving Program, 2422 N.
