Wayne Boyer Reed

Wayne Boyer Reed, age 77, a resident of West Fork, passed away June 25, 2013, at his home. He was born Aug. 19, 1935, in Barnsdall, Okla., the son of Henry Clay and Catherine Mildred Boyer Reed. Wayne served in the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharan Reed; three brothers, H.C. Reed, Paul Reed and Kenneth Reed; and one sister, Gladys Shaw. He is survived by his four sons, Michael Reed of Stilwell, Okla., Clay Reed of Fort Riley, Kan., Steven Reed and Mark Reed, both of West Fork; two brothers, Mutt Reed of Lincoln and Joe Reed of Grants Pass, Ore.; one sister, Carolyn Phillips of Utah; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2-3 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Monday, July 1, 2013, 10 a.m. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, with burial in the Prairie Grove Cemetery. There will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.
