Arthur Duane Quednow

Arthur Duane Quednow, 83, of Bella Vista, Ark., died on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at the Concordia Health & Rehab of Bella Vista, Ark. He was born on Dec. 4, 1929, in Topeka, Kan., to Werner Emil Quednow and Elsie Elizabeth Wilhelm Quednow. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He moved to Bella Vista in 1991 from Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a member of the Bella Vista Lutheran Church. He loved to golf and bowl. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by the love of his life, after 61 years of marriage, Bonnie Lou Quednow of Bella Vista; one son, Scott Michael Quednow and wife, Sonya, of Stokesdale, N.C.; one daughter, Karla Sue Quednow and husband, Butch Grosskreutz, of Prairie Grove, Ark.; one brother, William J. Quednow of Warner Robins, Ga.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at the Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark., with military honors by Bella Vista Honor Guard. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark.
