Geraldine E. Schwanz

Geraldine Schwanz, age 89, of Rogers died June 15, 2013, at Innisfree Health & Rehab in Rogers. She was born in Waukegan, Ill., on Dec. 29, 1923, to the late LeRoy and Zella (Eatinger) Turner. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers. Survivors include her children, Linda Fosbender of Rogers, Russell Schwanz of Salinas, Calif.; sisters, Betty Girdley and Margaret Sahagain; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter Schwanz; and a brother, Dean Turner. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 21, 2013, at Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers, officiated by Pastor Paul Theiss.
