Lem Harp

Lem Harp, 84, of Green Forest, entered his eternal rest on June 7, 2013 in Springdale. He was born on May 27, 1929, in Marble, Ark., to Daniel and Bertha Holman Harp. He married Theda Mae Acuff on June 1, 1951, in Huntsville, Ark. Lem worked as a USDA Inspector in Arkansas for 30 years. Lem is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Willadean Long, Junior Harp, Virginia Gage and William Harp. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Theda, of the home; a son, Larry Harp and his wife, Lethlyn of Little Rock; two sisters, Vielena Trap and Geneva Langston; a brother, Carson Harp; two grandsons, Adam Harp and his wife Sunny, and Alex Harp; six great-grandchildren and a host of friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at the Berryville Kingdom Hall.
