James Leroy Mitchell

James Leroy Mitchell, 39, of Lowell, died Monday, June 3, 2013, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born Oct. 23, 1973, in Fayetteville, to Jimmie Dale and Alma Rosetta Edwards Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Dale Meek. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Carlia Mitchell of the home; three children, Clinton Lewis and ShyAnn Kuykendall, both of Springdale, and Andrew Medford of the home; one sister, Kathy Sue Johnson and husband, Darrell of Fayetteville; two brothers, Robert Meek and wife, Crystal, Jimmy Mason and wife, Sherry, all of Springdale; his second mother, Carolyn Sue Meek of Springdale; and in-laws, Delbert and Larenda Lewis, Ira and Lynn Jones and Jerry and Libby Lewis. A graveside service will be 3:30 p.m. Friday, June 7, at Thornsberry Cemetery. Visitation will be prior from 2 to 3 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home.
