Creig L. Rogers

Creig L. Rogers, 40, of Fayetteville passed away Friday, May 31, 2013, in Fayetteville. He was born Nov. 7, 1972, in Fayetteville the son of Les and Debbie Counts Rogers. Creig was a two-time all state fooball player, playing in the all star game in Little Rock, KURM Radio dream team and also played for the U of A at Monticello Bollweevils, president of FHA and member of FBLA while in high school. He also was an avid mule rider and all around horseman, loved life, loved his wife and children; loved to tell you a story and make you laugh; never met a stranger, the first time you met him, you felt like you knew him all your life. Survivors include his wife, Ronda Allen Rogers of the home; his parents, Les and Debbie Rogers of Fayetteville; two children, Alexandria Jade Rogers and Mackenzie Creig Rogers of Clinton, Mass.; three stepchildren, Shaila, Natasha and Cameron Ratliff of Fayetteville; three brothers, Chris Rogers and wife, Cristy, of Fayetteville, Casey Rogers and wife, Jessica, of Fayetteville and Chance Rogers and wife, Kristin, of Fayetteville. Maternal grandmother, Donna Counts of Elkins; two nephews, Landon Rogers and Laken Rogers. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 6, 2013, at the Elkins High School Gym with burial in Mount Olive Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 5, 2013, from 5-7 p.m. at Beard's Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville. Memorial may be made to the Creig Rogers athletic scholarship fund at Elkins High School, 349 N.
