Gaylord G. Evans

Gaylord G. Evans, 70, of Manteca passed away on May 27, 2013, in Manteca, Calif. Gaylord was born on Feb. 26, 1943, in Huntsville, Ark., to the late William Edward Evans and the late Eutha Verna Evans. He has lived in Manteca for 13 years. Gaylord is survived by his children, Gaylord Evans and his wife, Nichole, of Manteca, Duane Evans of Fayetteville, Ark., Dawn Jordan of Fayetteville, Ark.; his stepchildren, Barry Yanke and his wife, Tina, Deana Rouse and her husband, Jeff, and Jeff Yanke and his wife, Elaine, all of Tracy; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; his sister, Shirley Evans of Watts, Okla. Gaylord is preceded in death by his wife, the late Janice Evans; his parents, the late William Edward Evans and the late Eutha Verna Evans; his brother, the late Gary Evans; and his sister, the late Gloria Grubb. Fry Memorial Chapel is honored to serve the Evans family. Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., Tracy, Calif. 95376.
