Robert Joseph Quinlan, 97, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Sunday, July 21, 2013, at Circle of Life - Legacy in Bentonville, Ark. He was born on Aug. 27, 1915, in Chicago, Ill., to Francis Lovekin and Emily Magdaline Hartman Lovekin. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He worked and retired from WGN Television in Chicago. He was preceded in death by his parents; and stepfather, Edward Quinlan; wife, Verona; son, James Quinlan; three sisters, Marie, Eileen and Margaret; granddaughter, Francesca Panzeca; and one brother, Charles Quinlan. He is survived by two sons, Robert T. Quinlan and wife, Faye, of Schiller Park, Ill., Michael Quinlan and wife, Delores, of Tulsa, Okla.; three daughters, Katheryn Kolb and husband, Ken, of Evergreen Park, Ill., Kathleen Handler and husband, Thomas, of Niles, Ill., Maureen Panzeca and husband, Frank, of Bloomingdale, Illinois; sister-in-law, Edwin Quinlan of Flossmor, Ill.; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3, at Circle of Life Hospice - Legacy Village Chapel, Bentonville, Ark. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
