Robert Lee Nighswonger Jr.

Robert "Bob" Nighswonger Jr., age 72, of Rogers died July 25, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice at Legacy Village in Bentonville. He was born in Hutchison, Kan., on Sept. 23, 1940. He was an MOD-mechanic for over 10 years with Beech Aircraft, and for 25 years with Boeing Aircraft. Survivors include his wife, Wanna (Reynolds) Nighswonger; father, Robert Nighswonger Sr.; children, Cyndi Dulaney and husband, Michael, of St. Petersburg, Fla., Troy Nighswonger and wife, Lori, of Rose Hill, Kan., Darren Nighswonger and wife, Lea, of Wichita, Kan., Soni Palmer and husband, Dete, of Derby, Kan.; siblings, Pamela Ariola of Springdale, Brenda Riecker of Topeka, Kan., Brent Nighswonger of Springdale; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Freda (Gubitz) Nighswonger. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Rocky Branch Baptist Church.
