Clyde Thomas

Clyde Thomas, age 85, a resident of Prairie Grove, went to be with his Lord on July 24, 2013, at his home. He was born Aug. 26, 1927, in Ranger, Texas, the son of James W. and Buna Browning Thomas. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Prairie Grove, where he served as a Deacon and Elder. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Mary Thomas; one son, Ken Thomas and wife, Donna of Prairie Grove; one daughter, Gwen Horne and husband, Travis, also of Prairie Grove; one brother, Clarence Thomas and wife, Maxine of Denver, Colo.; five grandchildren, Jason Thomas of Siloam Springs, Caleb Thomas and wife, Raeven of Paragould, Sarah Bailey and husband, Champ, Sharalee Coughran and husband, Randy and Gena Jentzsch, all of Prairie Grove; 15 great-grandchildren, Micah, Myah, Austin, Braden, Cale, Aiden, Darbie, Alaina, Malachi, Kamrynn, Beau, Elijah, Blake, Abigail and Madison; one nephew, Gary Thomas; and one niece, Cheryll Cole and husband, Lee, all of Colorado. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2013, at the Church of Christ in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clyde's great-grandchildren.
