David Vernon Murray

David Vernon Murray, 59, of Gravette, Ark., passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Ozark Community Hospital in Gravette, Ark. He was born on Jan. 18, 1954, in Corona, Calif., to Arnold Benjamin Murray and Anna Johanna Sweeter Murray. He moved with his family to the Gravette area when he was a young boy. He graduated from Gravette High School in 1972. David was a 1974-75 graduate of Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Okla. He was a member of Shepherd's Chapel Church. He was preceded in death by his previous wife, Glenda; and his mother, Anna. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Murray of Gravette, Ark.; his father, Arnold Murray of Gravette, Ark.; his daughter, Jessica Lynn Murray Pike and husband, Luther, of Hiwasse, Ark.; his brother, Dennis Murray and wife, Marion, of Gravette, Ark.; and his aunt, Martha Sweeter also of Gravette. A memorial service will be held at the Bella Vista Funeral Home, located at 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark., on Friday, July 26, 2013, at 2 p.m. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory.
