William Ray 'Bear' Harvison

William Ray "Bear" Harvison, 71, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Monday, July 1, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark. He was born on Dec. 10, 1941, in Moorefield, Ark., to William E. Harvison and Cleo R. Bolin Harvison. He was raised and educated in Arkansas. He was employed as a draftsmen for Wendt-Sonis, Rogers, Ark., and later at Warehouse 4 and 8 at Wal-Mart. He worked as a truck driver and gate guard at Rideout Lumber. He retired in 2008. He loved gardening, cooking, woodworking and oil painting. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Lynn Doyal Harvison. He is survived by wife, Ann Harvison of Bella Vista, Ark.; three sons, Michael Shawn Harvison (Michelle) of Rogers, Ark., Leon Abbott of Bentonville, Ark., Jeff Abbott of Bella Vista, Ark.; three daughters, Cheryl Lynn Harvison of Rogers, Ark., Carrie Todd (Douglas) of Bentonville, Ark., Erin Polack (Neil) of Centerton, Ark.; one sister, Ruby Joyce McGuire of Fayetteville, Ark.; ex-wife, Joan Harvison of Rogers, Ark.; and 13 grandchildren.
