Opal Bernice Thompson, 91, of Fayetteville, died Friday, Jan. 25, 1013, at her home. She was born May 12, 1921, in Tuckerman, Ark., to William and Agnes Smith. Opal worked for George's Inc. and loved gardening and spending time with her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Thompson and one son, Ron Thompson. Survivors include two sons, Frank Thompson and wife, Thresa of Tontitown and Rick Thompson and wife, Pat of Springdale; four daughters, Shirley Horvath and husband, Sandor of Tulsa, Bonnie David and husband, Mike of Broken Arrow, Janie Claypool and husband, John of Tontitown and Mary Williams and husband, Larry of Tontitown; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation was from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at Elm Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Quinton Chamlee, Logan Chamlee, Randy Thompson, Kaleb Gilbert, Gary Horvath and Tommy Horvath. Honorary pallbearers are Zane Gilbert, Daryl David and Cody David.
