Wilhelmina Dunker Williams

Wilhelmina (Scooter) Dunker Williams age 94. Wilhelmina was born in New York City, N.Y., February 4,1918 and died peacefully on January 20,2013. She attended Bellview Nursing School and was involved in nursing and helping people her whole life. She worked on the battlefield during World War II and assisted in "air" surgeries on special aircraft while bringing the wounded to safe ports. She was a devoted wife to her veteran husband Jack Parker Williams for 62 years until his death in 2007. After 33 moves they retired to Springdale, Ark. Wilma loved her church and was active in assisting with their programs and members. Her brother Rudolph Dunker passed away in 1999. She will be greatly missed by her sister Anne Margaret Lee of Basking Ridge, N.J. and nieces Regina Leslie and her husband John of Basking Ridge, N.J. and Madeleine Gay Fialko and her husband Thomas of Middletown, Ct. and nephew Edward Dunker (Longhurst) and his wife Karen of Pipe Creek, Texas; and many friends who were like family: Mark and Amy Duncan and their sons Jack and Cade of West Fork, Ark.,Teresa and Sean Cantrell and their children Mary Parker and Michael of Forrest City, Ark., and Carri and Randy Cooper and their children Katheryn, Samuel, and Michael of Glen Mills, Pa.
