Dolores Jane Adams

Dolores Adams, 70, of Bentonville, Ark., and former longtime resident of Gentry, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. Born Feb. 24, 1942, in Kansas City, Mo., she was the daughter of Fred G. Adams and Erma Hester Dodd. Dolores graduated from the Ozark Adventist Academy in Gentry in 1960. She attended Union College in Lincoln, Neb., and the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Dolores was a member of the National Association of Women in Construction and Gentry Seventh-day Adventist Church. Survivors include one brother, Dale Adams and wife Patricia of Gentry, Ark.; one sister, Diana Hartfield and husband Anthony of Decatur, Ark.; two nieces Jennifer Roberts and husband Shane of Gentry; Anna McMillan and husband Tim of Grass Valley, Calif.; and a nephew, Brian Adams of Oakley, Calif. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Ark., with Pastor Tim McMillan officiating. Burial will follow in Gentry Cemetery.
