Otis Marlin Parker, 87, of Huntsville, Ark., died Jan. 20, 2013, at the Earlene Howard Hospice Home in Springdale, Ark. He was born Dec. 31, 1925, in Venus, Ark., the son of Jesse Denver and Nettie Ward Parker. He was a farmer and was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Melvin Parker, Austin Parker, Keith Parker and J.D. Parker. Survivors include his wife, Lou Jean Easterling Parker of the home, to whom he was married in February 1955; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Rick and Twila Parker of Springdale, Ark., Jesse and Karolyn Parker and Randall Parker, all of Huntsville, Ark., and Kenny and Chris Parker of Elkins, Ark.; one daughter, Dolores Parker of Eureka Springs, Ark.; one brother, Jimmy Parker of Huntsville, Ark.; three sisters, Norene Teague of Elkins, Ark., Reba Bolinger of Kingston, Ark., and Elnora Martin of Lowell, Ark.; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, at the Living Water Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Faulkner officiating. Interment will be in the Old Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville, www.brashearsfuneralhome.net. Pallbearers will be Jeffery Parker, Cody Parker, Nick Parker, Jesse Parker and Curtis Lackey.
