Linda Carol Stamford

Linda Carol Stamford, 65, of Springdale died, Friday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Washington Regional Medical Center. She was born Feb. 23, 1947, in Richmond, Va., to Raymond and Thelma Walton. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Steve Walton; and son, Clarence Edward Chinault. Survivors include her husband 40 years, James Stamford of the home; three sons, Steve Chinault and wife, Jillyn of Spokane, Wash., Joe Chinault and wife, Melissa of Springdale and Mathew Chinault and wife, Marie of Springdale; two daughters, Eva Thomas and husband, Mark of Greenland and Elizabeth McKnight and husband, Donovan of Springdale; 18 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several other family members and friends. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Beard's Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held 12:30 p.m., Friday at Living Faith in Fayetteville with Pastor Buel Curtis officiating. Burial will follow at the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
