Fannie 'Jo' Ashworth

Fannie "Jo" Ashworth, 84, of Fayetteville passed on to be with her Lord and family Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, in Springdale. She was born March 25, 1928, in Bloomer, Ark., the daughter of Joseph T. and Fannie Card Rucker. She was a bookkeeper and member of the Missionary Baptist faith. Preceded in death by her husband, Leon Ashworth. Survivors include her two sons, Jerry Ashworth and wife, Kaye of Farmington and Marty Ashworth and wife, Phyllis of West Fork; one daughter, Cheryl Harp and husband, Robert of Prairie Grove; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Beard's Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jeff Hart officiating. Burial will be in Mineral Springs Cemetery.
