Dorothy Lou Parker

Dorothy Lou Webb Parker, age 82, of Rogers, Ark., died Friday, Jan. 11, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Church-Archer-Pasley Funeral Home in Liberty, Mo. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Glenridge Cemetery in Liberty. Memorial contributions may be made to The Arthritis Foundation. Dorothy was born on March 20, 1930, in Daviess County, Mo., to Ray and Faye (Brown) Webb. She married Verne H. Parker on Jan. 9, 1954. Together, they had two children: Jeff Parker and Kathy Parker Pendergraft. Dorothy worked in the insurance business for nearly 45 years, and retired from Cooper Insurance Agency in Liberty. She was preceded in death by her husband, Verne, of 49 years. Survivors include: Jeff and Tammy Parker, and family, of Plattsmouth, Neb.; Bill and Kathy Pendergraft, and family of Rogers, Ark.; sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and many dear friends.
