Charles Wilson Thomason, age 76, of Bismarck, passed from this life on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark. He was born July 22, 1936, in Clark County, the son of the late John Fletcher and Eunice Mae Whitley Thomason. Charles retired from Levi Strauss, was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, a member of Arkadelphia Masonic Lodge #381 and a Shriner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Daggett Thomason; three brothers, Carroll, Herschel and John Rush Thomason; and four sisters, Edith Lee, Grace Cooley, Hazel Brosman and Lucille Sams. Charles is survived by one daughter, Tammy (Joe) Frazier Beeler of Rogers; one son, Mike (Donna) Thomason of Bryant; one stepson; one stepdaughter; one brother, Cecil (Shirley) Thomason of Bismarck; one sister, Jean (Bob) Cansler of Bismarck; seven grandchildren, Chris and Ricky Frazier Jr., Mickey, Aaron and Timothy Thomason, Jordan and Ashley Young; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Interment will be in DeRoche Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ray Miller, Donald Morrison, Terry Thomason, Frank Thomason, David Thomason and Russell Hunt.
