Marshall Eugene Cooper

Marshall Eugene Cooper, 88, a resident of Cove Creek Community, passed away Jan. 6, 2013, in Fayetteville. He was born June 6, 1924, at Rosedale, Ark., the son of Melvin and Nora Phillips Cooper. Preceded in death by two brothers, Herman and Floyd Cooper and three sisters, Naomi Reaves, Margie Bozarth and Wilma Carter. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Louise Cooper, they were married Aug. 9, 1944, in Fayetteville; two sons, James Eugene Cooper and his wife, Carolyn of Prairie Grove and Richard Cooper and his wife, Kandy of Lincoln; one sister, Wanda Bartholomew and husband, Wayne of Prairie Grove; three grandchildren, Lisa Cooper, Lynn Cooper and Kaylene Davis; five great-grandchildren, Jason Cooper, Chance Cooper, Laramie Cooper, Jessica Davis and Cody Davis; one great-great-grandchild, Kenleigh Cooper; three step-grandchildren, Lance Price, Clint Price and Tony Price; and eight step-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2012, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Interment will be in Scott Cemetery, there will be no graveside service held at the cemetery.
