After retiring, Freda remained on the farm until she had a heart attack on March 26, 2006. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Dwight Mothershead of Rogers; and many friends and relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joy T.
