Bobby Dean Sligar

Bobby Dean "Bob" Sligar, 47, of Bentonville, Ark., died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at his residence in Bentonville after an extended battle with diabetes. He was born Aug. 18, 1965, in Monett, Mo. He was a graduate of Bentonville High School, class of 1984, enjoyed tinkering with cars and was an excellent mechanic. He was a loving father and his son's best friend. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Bentonville. Bob is survived by one son, Bobby Wayne Sligar and wife, Allisa Marie, of Bentonville; father, Bobby Eugene "Bob" Sligar and wife, Shirli Ann, of Bentonville; three grandchildren, Kayla Lyn, Jake Allen Sligar and Cory Woodcock; two brothers, Tim Sligar and wife, Terri, of Springdale, Ark., and Donny Sligar of Taylor, Mich., and his children, Dominick and Mackenzie; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of close friends. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers.
