Troy Gilmore Newberry

Troy Gilmore Newberry, 89, of Springdale, passed from this life to heaven on Feb. 22, 2013. He was born March 29, 1923, in George, Ark., to the late Albert and Clercie Newberry. Mr. Newberry was retired from Tysons. He was preceded in death by his wife, Golda Newberry and nine brothers and sisters Hammie Newberry, Earl Newberry, Eula Cook, Lucy Alread, Ednie Alread, Bea Piper, Edith Alread, Dennis Newberry, and Coy Newberry. Left to cherish his memory are three children, Sharon Rich and husband Lenn of Lowell, Sherry Edens and husband Gary of Springdale, Dewayne Newberry of Clyde, Ark.; a sister-in-law, Geraldine Newberry of Green Forrest. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at Westfield Chapel with Rev. Kelly Yarbrough officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery.
