Robert Dewitt Mansfield

Robert Dewitt Mansfield, 68, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at his home. He was born Jan. 30, 1945, in Chattanooga, Tenn., the son of Margaret Miller and Willis Mansfield. His hobbies included fishing, golfing and spending quality time with his grandchildren. He had worked as vice president for 10 years with Consumer Testing Laboratories in Bentonville. He enjoyed the Tennessee Volunteers. He had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for 14 years after moving from Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents. Robert is survived by his wife, Linda Mansfield of the home, whom he married Oct. 5, 1963; two sons, Robert "Robby" Mansfield Jr. of Bella Vista, and Steven Mansfield and his wife, April, of Bella Vista; one brother, David Mansfield and his wife, Dianna, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; one sister, Ann Malone and her husband, Denny, of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.; five grandchildren, Victoria Reece of Chattanooga, Tenn., Allen Mansfield of Springdale, and Nicholas Mansfield, Haley Mansfield and Zachary Mansfield, all of Bella Vista; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at New Hope Assembly of God Church in Rogers. Funeral service will be Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at 10 a.m. at New Hope Assembly of God Church in Rogers, with Pastor David Brown officiating.
