John Vereb, 76, of Springdale died Feb. 14, 2013, at the V A Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born Feb. 12, 1937, in Suffern, N.Y., to Paul and Elizabeth Vereb. He retired after 24 years from the United States Air Force serving during the Vietnam Conflict then later retired from Allied Signal after 16 years. He was a member of the Rod and Gun Club in Germany and Gold Prospector Association in Arizona. He is survived by his wife Deloris Adams Vereb of the home. One son: John Vereb II of Springdale, two daughters: Debra R. Rodriguez and husband Felix (Manny) of Peoria, Ariz., and Tammy L. Berrones of Glendale, Ariz. Two grandchildren, Vanessa Berrones and Joshua Berrones and two great-grandchildren, Arianna Fierro and Raelynn Brauer. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale, burial will follow at the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
