Bonnie Belle Grosscup

Bonnie Belle (Cook) Grosscup, 94, of Glendale Heights, Ill., passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013. She was born May 25, 1919, in Fayetteville, Ark., to Ira and Mettie Dorman Cook. She was raised in Fayetteville before moving to the Chicago area in 1942. She again lived in Fayetteville for 20 years before returning to the Chicago area in 2004 to be nearer to her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon A. Grosscup and her parents. Survivors include her sister, Dr. Doris Cook; two children, Jacquelyn Zecchin and James A. (Jackye) Grosscup; three grandchildren, Laura (Edward) Phillips, Lindsay Grosscup and James R. Grosscup; and three great-grandchildren, Crystal, Angelica and Tyler Phillips. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville. Local arrangements are under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
