Henry W. Cross

Henry W. Cross, age 85, passed away Feb. 10, 2013. He was born July 16, 1927, in Memphis, Tenn. He was the son of Richard M. Cross Sr. and Mary MacMillen Cross. He is preceded in death by one son, Paul Cross; his brothers, Richard M. Cross Jr., Dr. John W. Cross and Thomas Cross; and a sister, Helen West Ouellett. He is survived by wife, Agnes Boone Cross of Fayetteville; sons, David Cross and Richard Cross and wife, Jennifer of Fayetteville; and two grandchildren, Courtney Cross and Bryce Hinton, both of Fayetteville. Cross served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II, was a graduate of Memphis University, and in 1972, he retired as a cost accountant from Kimberly-Clark. After retirement from Kimberly-Clark, Mr. Cross moved his wife and three sons to Salesville, Ark., where he and his wife ran several restaurants in the Lake Norfork and White River area until his second retirement. He is a member of St. Gabriel's Anglican Church in Springdale. A memorial service will be at St. Gabriel's Anglican Church at noon on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013.
