Danny Allen Orndorff

Danny Allen Orndorff, age 56, of Monett, Mo., passed from this life suddenly on Sunday morning, Feb. 3, 2013, at his residence. Danny was born on June 1, 1956, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Johnny Junior Orndorff and Betty Jo (Mather) Stettler Orndorff. He attended and graduated from Pea Ridge High School in Pea Ridge, Ark. Danny had worked for EFCO and IDF, for Orndorff Curb & Gutter, Ozark Hardwood, and for over 10 years, at Tyson Foods. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Danny enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and treasure hunting. On Aug. 25, 1987, in Miami, Okla., Danny and Erma Snyder were united in marriage. She survives. Additional survivors include one son, Joshua Allen Booth and wife, Stephanie, of the state of Florida; two daughters, Nola Esther Benz and husband, Jeff, of Monett and Emily Sue Orndorff of Monett; six grandchildren; his mother, Betty Jo Stettler of Pea Ridge; four sisters, Vikki Clanton and husband, Ricky, of Pea Ridge, Carla Rivers and husband, Waymon, of Centerton, Ark., Tina Olguin of Rogers, Ark., and Daisy Rossiter and husband, David, of Exeter, Mo.; three aunts, Loraine Long of Gravette, Ark., Wanda Schubert of Joliet, Ill., and Mary Smith of Rogers; three uncles, Paul Mather of the state of Florida, Johnny Mather of Pea Ridge and Butch Orndorff of Kansas City, Kan.; as well as a host of extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Orndorff. Funeral services for Mr. Orndorff will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at the Buchanan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hubert Conway officiating. Interment will be in the Buttram Chapel Cemetery, Pea Ridge. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 6 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, Mo.
