Patricia Ann Macon-Sweat

Patricia Ann Macon-Sweat, 54, of Tulsa, Okla., died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013. She was born Aug. 8, 1958, in Bakersfield, Calif., the daughter of Ola Berry Macon and Oleta Graham Macon. As a child, she was a member of the Rainbows. She was a member of the National Association of Legal Investigators and was the founder of the National Gideon Macon Society. She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Jo Taylor. Survivors include her husband, Bryan Sweat of the home; two sons, Joe Macon and Jeremy Macon, both of Tulsa, Okla.; three sisters, Willa Dean Johnson, Wanda Louise Payne and Ola Jean Dunaway, all of Springdale. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Friendship Cemetery with the Rev. Paul W.
