Thomas Anthony Imhof

Thomas Anthony Imhof, 70, of Bella Vista, Ark., died at his home on Friday, Feb. 1, 2013. He was born on Dec. 29, 1942, in Dubuque, Iowa, to Joseph Imhof and Margaret (Riedi) Imhof. He was in the Marines during Vietnam, as a Lance Corporal. He worked for United Airlines over 35 years, retiring Aug. 1, 2000. He moved to Bella Vista, Ark., in September 2000 from Bartlett, Ill. He loved fishing, NASCAR races, golfing and travel. He loved the Chicago Clubs and was an avid Chicago Bears football fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Imhof; mother, Margaret Imhof Sibley; father, John Sibley; and brother-in-law, Dennis Flatley. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carolyn Imhof of Bella Vista, Ark.; one brother, Jack Sibley and wife, Shirley, of Dubuque, Iowa; one sister, Nancy Flatley of San Antonio, Texas; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the Bella Vista Community Church. Pastor Jeff Reed will officiate.
