Shirley Louise Donohew

Shirley Louise Donohew, 70, of Springdale, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at Northwest Medical Center. She was born Oct. 19, 1943, in Vinita, Okla., to Bert and Fern Thronbrue Wilson. Shirley was devoted to her family. She enjoyed cooking, outings, and always gave good advice. She was preceded in death by three children, Kathy Smith in 2007, and infant twins, Karen and Aaron Donohew. She is survived by her husband, Bob Donohew, of the home; four children, Tricia Perry of Springdale, Ardith Johnson of Lowell, Robby Donohew of Lincoln, Darrel Donohew of Springdale; three brothers, Joe and Ralph Wilson, both of Oklahoma, Archie Wilson of Kansas; one sister, Dorothy, of New York; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday, Dec. 31, followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Thornsberry Cemetery.
