Ann Domnica Mack, 96, of Rogers, Ark., died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at Legacy Village in Bentonville. She was born Oct. 8, 1917, in Two Hills, Alberta, Canada, the daughter of Jenny and Mitru Cucheran. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rue Clifton "Cupie" Mack; her son-in-law, Harry Harmon, MD; her grandson, William Cooper Mack; her brother, John Cucheran; and her sister, Helen Tater. Ann is survived by two daughters, Mary Norton and her husband, Robert Norton, Jenny Harmon; one son, John Mack and his wife Harriet Mack; her grandchildren, John Harmon, Lee Harmon, Hunter Mack and his wife Nyree, and Laura Woodrow; her great-grandchildren, Kate Harmon Hanney, Emmett Mack and Asya Mack; her nephews, John Cucheran, Bob Cucheran, Edward Schreiber; and her niece, Susan Schreiber Gold. One of Ann Mack's greatest accomplishments was graduating with honors from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro with a degree in education. She was passionate about teaching and life-long learning. Ann taught in the Rector School System for 21 years before moving to Rogers in 1988. Ann was also passionate about volunteering in the schools, in her church and at the Benton County Women's Shelter Thrift Store. Proud of her Romanian heritage, she instilled an appreciation of the culture to her children and grandchildren through her love of dance, traditional foods and decorating Ukrainian Easter eggs. Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013, from 9 until 10 a.m. in the sanctuary of the First United Methodist Church in Downtown Rogers followed by a Memorial Service at 10 a.m., Reverend Sandi Wanasek and Reverend David Bentley will officiate. A graveside service will be on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Ark. Memorials may be sent to the First United Methodist Church Chapel Renovation Fund, 307 W.
