Beth Ann Austin

Beth Ann Austin, 40, of Gravette, Ark., died Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, Mo. She was born on Aug. 16, 1973, in Bentonville, Ark., to Beryl Dean Bertschy and Pamela Sue Stephens Bertschy. She was raised in Gravette and Hiwasse area. She attended the Gravette School District; and was raised in the Church of Christ and attended the Sale Barn Church of Decatur. She loved to spend time on the motorcycle with her husband, and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Beryl Bertschy. She is survived by her husband of 20 ½ years, Rip Austin of Gravette; mother, Pam Bertschy of Hiwasse, Ark.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ronnie and Janice Austin of Gravette, Ark.; one son, Jake Austin of Gravette; and daughter, Rian Austin of Gravette, Ark. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the Boling Barn, 17853 Highway 72 and Stage Coach Road. Memorials may be made in care of the Bank of Gravette to help with the medical bills, or to Mercy-St. John's Hospice, Springfield, Mo., or to charity of donor's choice.
