Catherine Gardner Duls

Catherine Gardner Duls, 89, of Fayetteville, Ark., formerly of Dallas, Texas, passed away Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, in Springdale, Ark. She was born June 6, 1924, in Dallas, Texas, to William H. Duls and Theresa (Marshall) Duls. She was a retired library assistant at the Underwood Law Library at Southern Methodist University and a member of First United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas. She is survived by one sister, Jane Meadows (Jack) of Fayetteville, Ark.; two nephews, Jack E. Meadows Jr. (Carolyn) of Little Rock, Ark., and Bill Meadows (Susan) of Fayetteville, Ark.; two great-nieces; two great-nephews;, five great-great-nieces; and one great-great-nephew. Memorial services will be held Saturday, Dec. 21, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home, with the Rev. Sara Pair officiating. Private burial will be held at Sparkman-Hillcrest in Dallas, Texas. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or to Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas.
