Offa Philpott Schell Epperson, 96, of Rogers passed away Dec. 12, 2013, in Rogers. She was born Sept. 13, 1917, near Decatur, Ark., the daughter of Eli Commodore and Minnie A. Scroggins Philpott. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist church. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Lester Schell and Ray Epperson; and six grandchildren, Melody Schell, Randall Crowder, Kimberly Schell-Hamilton, Robert Makey, Isabella Graves and Jim Dorman. She is survived by her children, Will Schell and wife, Lavonna, of Berryville, Dalene Toovey and husband, Charles, of Staplehurst, Neb., and Patsy Graves of Rogers; one brother, Orley Philpott of San Bernardino, Calif., four sisters, Amy Brewer of Guymon, Okla., Edna Brandon of Decatur, Ilda McCullough of Siloam Springs and Leta Warren of Grove, Okla.; 13 grandchildren, Cindy Silcox Makey, Lorrie Silcox Treadaway, Brian, Barry and Brad Graves, Regina Schell, Laurel Ashworth, Greg and Kent Patty, Deneen Foster, Patty Galley, Dan Dorman and Teresa Wilson; 39 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. Fourth St., Rogers, with her grandson, Pastor Brad Graves, officiating. Interment will follow in the Springtown Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
