Mary Elizabeth Floyd

Mary Elizabeth Floyd, 71, of Pea Ridge died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice House in Bentonville. She was born Jan. 12, 1942, in Hammond, Ind., the daughter of Agnes Louise Walker and Joseph John Zabinski. She was a dedicated and loving mother who persevered through many challenges to be there for her two sons. She was an amazing mother who will be sorely missed. She loved animals, and was a collector of Elvis Presley memorabilia and other antiques. She had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for over 20 years after moving from Longmont, Colo. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Kent Floyd; one son, Robert Zuber; one sister, Candace Elaine Zabinski; and her parents. Mary is survived by two sons, Richard Zuber and his wife, Myra, of Fredericksburg, Va., Ronald Zuber and his wife, Darci, of Longmont; two brothers, Michael C. Giba and his wife, Sherry, of Hammond, Ind., Anthony T. Giba and his wife, Donna, of Highland, Ind.; and four grandchildren. Arrangements by Epting Funeral Home of Bentonville.
