Charles Lee Wilcox

Charles Lee Wilcox, 70, of West Fork, Ark., died Friday, Aug. 30, 2013, at Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville, Ark. He was born July 31, 1943, in Fayetteville, Ark., the son of Eugene and Daisy Nunnally. Charles served 28 years in the United States Army before retiring as a Sgt. Major CSM. After retiring, he moved to Fayetteville, Ark., and began C&C home repair company. He enjoyed boating and working. Charles enjoyed hunting and fishing in Colorado. He was also very politically involved and enjoyed talking with his friends. Charles was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Nunnally. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sharon Wilcox of the home; his mother, Daisy Nunnally of Hot Springs, Ark.; one son, Charles Lee Wilcox of Pearl, Miss.; one daughter, Tonya Wilcox of Fayetteville, Ark.; one brother, Malcolm Wilcox and his wife, Joanne, of Beach Bluff, Tenn.; and two grandchildren, Torri Wilcox and Charles Wilcox III. A memorial service will be Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at 10 a.m. at West Fork Baptist Church, with inurnment to follow at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
