Oleta Yocum Londagin

Oleta Yocum Londagin was born Oct. 4, 1934, and raised in Overcup, Ark., the daughter of the late Payton Anderson and Velma Edith Yocum. She graduated from Morrilton High School and attended Arkansas Polytechnic College in Russellville. There she met the love-of-her-life, the late George Londagin, and they married in 1955. She was a true homemaker, dedicating her life to the growth and nurturing of her family. She was a faithful Christian and prayer warrior. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son George Edward Londagin, and brother, Odell Yocum. She is together with them in Glory. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Deborah (Kenny) Goff of Springdale, Kathryn (Kevin) Buck of Rogers, and David (Lori) Londagin of Wichita, Kansas: her grandchildren: Lacy Goff of Fayetteville, Kaila and Liam Buck of Rogers, and Hannah and Jaden Londagin of Wichita, Kansas; her sisters: Helen Eidson of Berryville, Ione Boul of Kansas City, Missouri, Loretta Parker of Ft. Smith, Ival Parker of Springdale, and Carolyn Yarbourgh of Morrilton; many nieces, nephews and friends. Her family is most grateful for the care she received at Mercy Medical Center, the Meadows Assisted Living, Innisfree Nursing Center, and Circle of Life Earlene Howard Hospice Home; from her physicians Dr. Christopher Johnson, Dr. Kimberly Burner, and Dr. Terry Sutterfield, nurses, nurse assistants and other professionals. Her funeral, conducted by Rev. Jim Moore, will be on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 11:00am in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers, with burial to follow at Falling Springs Cemetery in Decatur. Visitation is Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from 5 until 7pm. She is sorely missed but is now safe and secure.
