Brandon Elton Batchelor

Brandon Elton Batchelor, 38-year-old resident of Springdale, Ark., died Aug. 17, 2013. Born Sept. 30, 1974, in Colorado Springs, Colo., he was the son of Ron and Debi Batchelor. Brandon married Valbona Atkins on March 31, 2001, in Siloam Springs, Ark. He was the chief operating officer with Kimbel Mechanical Systems in Springdale. Brandon graduated with honors from John Brown University with a bachelor's degree in construction management, and served on the advisory board of the JBU Construction Management Division. Brandon was active in Outreach Center Church, Siloam Springs, Cross Church in Springdale, and Revolution Church in Rogers, Ark., over the past 20 years. Survivors include his wife, Valbona, of the home; four children, Kristi Xho Batchelor, Benjamin Daniel Batchelor, Elise Katherine Batchelor and Amelia Elisabeth Batchelor, all of the home; his parents, Ron and Debi Batchelor of Siloam Springs; three brothers, Bryan Batchelor and wife Kanda of Silver Cliff, Colo., Ben Batchelor of Siloam Springs, and Brad Batchelor and wife, Jana, of Siloam Springs; and a host of cousins. A celebration of life service will be 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, at The Cathedral of the Ozarks, John Brown University, Siloam Springs, Ark., with Mr. Rob Kimbel officiating. Burial will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs, Ark. Visitation will be 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Ark.
