Preston Leon Jackson

Preston Leon Jackson, 85, of Seligman, Mo., passed away Aug. 10, 2013, in Seligman. He was born Jan. 24, 1928, in Spring Creek, Ark., the son of Jesse Oscar and Rosie Lulabell Jackson. He is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Kathy; two sisters, Edith Cravens and Ruby Palmer; three brothers, Toby Jackson, Murl Leeders and Glenn Jackson; three grandchildren, Tonya, James and Toby. Survived by his wife, Dorothy Johnson Jackson; children, Sherry Rhoades and husband, Eric, David Jackson, Mary McHalek and husband, Jeff, James Jackson and wife, Latanya, Timothy, Thomas, Larry Jackson; two sisters, Linda Williams, husband Mitchell Hufford, and Alice Robins; three brothers, Paul Jackson and Velma, TJ Jackson and wife, Winnie, and Floyd Jackson and wife, June; 12 grandchildren, Mandy Cheatham, Savannah Evans, Ashley McHalek, Arial Jackson, Holly Timmons, Austin McHalek, Jesse Horton, Tyler Jackson, Jeremiah Jackson, Latasha Johnston, Hope Misenheimer and James Stance; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, at House Prayer Church in Rogers. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th St., Rogers.
